👋 Hi, I'm Lech Iyoko!
A passionate AI Engineer in the making, specialising in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, and eventually advanced Robotics after completing my master's degree. My mission is to develop AI-driven solutions that bridge technological gaps and create real-world impact.
My Journey into AI
Growing up in a developing country, I saw firsthand how limited access to technology stifled innovation in industries such as education, agriculture, healthcare and manufacturing. This motivated me to pursue a bachelor's degree in Mechatronics and Robotics, believing automation could improve daily life. However, I quickly realized that true transformation isn't just about automation—it's about intelligence.
This realisation led me to AI, where I became deeply fascinated with how intelligence works—both artificial and human.
How do humans think, perceive, and make decisions? Can AI supplement and augment human intelligence to solve real-world problems? How can we harness AI and robotics to bridge gaps in healthcare, education, agriculture, and manufacturing? These questions fuel my curiosity and drive my exploration into multimodal AI models, robotics, and cognitive systems. I believe that by understanding intelligence, not just as an abstract concept but as a tool for development, we can create AI that enhances human capabilities, drives automation where it's needed most, and improves living standards. From AI-powered diagnostics in healthcare to intelligent automation in manufacturing and agriculture, my goal is to develop AI solutions that make a tangible impact on society.
